In order to always meet these two fundamental requirements, Bios Line’s products are subject to continuous research and improvement – practically inexhaustible – starting from the selection of raw materials, which is of primary importance for the development of effective products.
Bios Line knows every detail of the plants it uses: their origin, place of cultivation and harvesting methods. From a supply chain point of view, the main medicinal herbs are tested to assess the crops and techniques that allow to obtain higher quality standards.
The R&D Department develops and then improves a set of procedures related to extraction and administration. It is continuous the commitment to researching new analytical methods that guarantee the concentration of certain active ingredients (as for example the PAC-A in the Cranberry) or that allow a deeper knowledge of the composition of the extracts used.
As a matter of fact, the titration of extracts is established through analytical methods that are specific for each substance, to actually ensure the presence of the active ingredients in the extract and, consequently, its efficacy.
Great attention is also paid to the determination of the most suitable galenic formulation (preparation technology) according to the type of plant, active ingredient but, above all, to the intended use: ranging from the gastro-resistant tablets of FerPlus Tre-Tard and Bromelina, to the gradual-release tablets of Vitacalm TuttaNotte and C1000 Tre-Tard, or the sublingual tablets of Vitacalm Melatonina and Principium B12 1000, perfect for an immediate action and to avoid any intestinal absorption problems.
Suitable land, selected seeds, sustainable farming techniques together with the respect for the timing of seasons. The cream you will put on your face and the herbal tea that will refresh you in the evening will always contain the best herbal ingredients, coming from controlled areas and land, where they grow wild or are cultivated in a natural way.
Quality also comes from harvesting. According to the principles of herbal tradition, Bios Line chooses and picks every plant, bud or flower at their balsamic moment, namely that “magic moment” when active ingredients are at their highest concentration. To preserve the natural properties of each ingredient, picking is often done by hand. Trained and experienced personnel constantly monitor the growth and quality of the crops.
Eventually, Bios Line quality is a feature of the production process, guaranteed by a certified Quality System.
Stability, chemical/physical and qualitative analysis using the most advanced equipment.
The ELISA test is run for the detection of gluten and another test is run for the detection of nickel.
The aim is to preserve and enhance the purity and efficacy of the active ingredients.
Professionalism, enthusiasm and passion are the key to the success of our products.
