Una manna per la stipsi

< 1 min

Manna (Fraxinus ornus) is a sweet exudate that is extracted by making a cut in the manna ash, a tree that grows in Sicily. Its gentle laxative effect is due to a type of sugar, mannitol. Traditionally, manna is used for constipation in children and pregnant women, but also has a role in the Bible. The ancient peoples considered sacred and thought it was the “honey from the air”.
