It may seem strange, but one of the best ways of recovering quickly, for example if you haven’t had enough sleep, is drinking. This comes from Chinese tradition, where lack of sleep consumes jing, which is our life essence. To regenerate our jing, which for Orientals is liquid in nature, you have to drink as much as possible, preferably green tea or water.
