Occhio agli zuccheri (e alla bilancia)

< 1 min

It is true that a diet that is too rich in fat (with fried foods and excessive sauces) raises the level of triglycerides in the blood. But beware: also sugars and alcohol, which turn into stored fat in our bodies, become sources of triglycerides which may clog the arteries. To keep the levels of these fats under control, avoid sweet foods and do not exaggerate with bread, pasta and pizza. It is also important to increase both the consumption of lean protein (fish, vegetables) and try to lose weight. Adipose tissue, in fact, is basically a triglyceride dumping ground.
