L’olio di pesce protegge le arterie
The effectiveness of fish oils on the cardiovascular system has been demonstrated by countless studies. In the first and most important, carried out in the Seventies, researchers asked why the Inuit from Greenland, despite consuming a lot of fat, had a negligible percentage of cardiovascular disease compared to their Canadian neighbours: as low as 3-4 percent compared to 50! It was discovered that the fish they eat (such as salmon, tuna, herring) are extremely rich in omega 3 essential fatty acids which are able to protect the arteries.
