Physical exercise is becoming increasingly important for health. But what is the best sport to keep the heart in shape? Simple: walking. According to research, a 30-40 brisk walk every day and, if possible, three sessions a week of about an hour of another activity, such as cycling or tennis, are sufficient. This will also help balance blood pressure and cholesterol and triglyceride levels, known risk factors for cardiovascular wellbeing.
