La Malva
A humble plant that grows all over, mallow (Malva sylvestris) plays an important role in the herbal world, having been used for centuries as to soothe. Its name comes from the Greek malaké, springs, and rightly points out the emollient properties of this herb. The leaves and flowers contain large amounts of mucilage, and have a soothing effect on mucous membranes.
