Il Fieno greco

< 1 min

This plant (Trigonella foenum-graecum), which belongs to the legume family, was one of the first herbs used by mankind for culinary and medicinal purposes. It was known in ancient Egypt for its revitalizing properties and appreciated by the Arabs, who used it as an aphrodisiac. Today we know that fenugreek is high in protein, vitamins, phosphorus, iron and manganese and is therefore an excellent tonic, a good support in cases of physical but also mental fatigue.
