In order to always meet these two fundamental requirements, Bios Line products are the result of continuous research and development, practically inexhaustible.
Starting from the selection of raw materials, the ideal starting point for products development.
Bios Line knows every detail of the plants it uses, their origin, place of cultivation and harvesting methods. From a supply chain viewpoint, the main medicinal plants are tested to assess the crops and techniques that will produce the highest quality standards.
The R&D department develops and refines a set of procedures related to extraction and administration: for the titration of extracts, for example, established through specific analytical methods for each substance, actual guarantee of the presence of active ingredients in the extract and consequently its effectiveness, or for the determination of the most suitable galenic formulation (preparation technology) according to the type of plant, and active ingredient but, above all, to the intended use: ranging from micro-tablets for Safralyin® and Epa 3 Fish to sublingual sachets for Migralen® and Vitacalm Melatonin to the enteric, gastro-protective capsules for Principium FerPlus Tre-tard and Bromelina.
Last but not least, our qualified personnel is continually involved in training, studying and evaluating the most recent scientific literature, both in terms of efficacy and safety and in terms of synergy of action of plant complexes.
Eventually, Bios Line quality is a feature of the production process, guaranteed by a certified Quality System.
Tests for stability, physical and chemical properties and quality are carried out in the laboratory, using the most advanced control methods and tools. In addition to the usual tests on bacterial load, pesticides and heavy metals, the ELISA test to detect gluten and tests to detect nickel are carried out on many products.
All this aims to preserve and enhance the purity and efficacy of the active ingredients, respecting the dictates of modern herbal medicine, which claims that no constituent of the plant can be considered inert.
Quality, in short, comes naturally to us.
